Creepy Coffin Cake

I created this coffin cake for a Halloween party.  Carved from layers of sheet cake, and covered with strips of fondant to resemble wood.  I 'painted' various shades of (edible) brown coloring on to the fondant and etched in some lines with one of my favorite fondant tools to give it a worn/old appearance.  Check out the hand breaking through the cake! I loved the finished product.
